So, apparently "Brian's Song" is a movie from the 70's that has the guy who played Lando Calrissian in it. I've never seen it, but it seemed like a good name for a blog post.
Tay is currently busy being pregnant, so I figured I'd post my first substantial blog post. Life is getting more and more hectic. In the next couple of months we're hoping to buy a home, Tay will graduate from college, and then the baby will come. We still haven't settled on a name for him, but have taken to calling him Li'l Charlie. This is because Tay got a little Teddy Bear for Christmas that she named Charlie. Here's a picture of Charlie:
Interestingly enough, Li'l Charlie is bigger than Big Charlie.
Anyways, enough about unborn babies. Let's talk about important things that Tay will never talk about. So, while we were researching neighborhoods that we are considering buying in, I discovered a cool new feature of Google Maps : Street View. In certain markets (and Utah is one of them), you can actually "drive" down streets and see what they look like.
For example, check out LaVell Edwards Stadium. From here you can cruise around Provo. You may recognize some people or objects that were in view when the camera van drove by (such as Tay's van parked at my parents house). As you can imagine, this has come in handy when checking out listings we're considering buying. You can also take pretend vacations to NYC or San Fran. Our check out sites from the mission. The possibilities are endless. Of course, many people are concerned about privacy violations, but I say just don't do things in public you'd be ashamed of later, and you'll be fine.
