Sean's Birthday

He turned one! I know, I know - somehow we were able to get him to age one without killing him. Amazing, right?

Overall it was a good day. He's been running a little fever and I don't know why. I thought it was a new tooth, but it's just been continuous over the past couple of days. Luckily we're going to a wellness appointment tomorrow and we can check for an ear infection or whatnot.

It's crazy that a year ago I gave birth to this guy. I'm not sure that the year has necessarily gone by faster than usual. The years went by fast before him. It just feels fast in a different way because I'm watching him grow so much in such a small span of time.

Well, I'll get up the specs tomorrow so you can see just how big this kid is getting. It's lucky that he just keeps getting cuter. Despite the biting and head-butting. You know.

Dicing

So, my most recent addiction is Farkle. It's a dice game. Probably intended for gambling. Anyway...

When you use up your ten rounds trying to beat your high score, they show you a picture that is comparable to your level of smartness. There's a couch potato, a football player, the bride of Frankenstein's monster, etc. However, this is what I got after a less productive round of virtual dice throwing:



What is that lady? I'm inclined to say a maid or a housewife. Either way, the next level up is football player.

I'm not sure what to make of this. They are insinuating that a maid or housewife a) are very well the same thing, and/or b) this figure is more incapable of men and monsters to roll high scores.

However, she does sit higher than a worm, a clown, and the couch potato. And I guess we should be grateful they put her at least that high on the aptitude scale.
